In addition to our online store, Plastic Sea, Perfect Storm is available in a growing number of bookstores, first and foremost in the Netherlands and Spain, but also in surrounding countries. Since we handle distribution ourselves, it may take some time before the book is available in your country. Would you like the book to be stocked in your favorite bookstore? Please put us in touch with the purchasing manager so we can reach out. Are you a bookseller? Contact us about the discount we offer on wholesale purchases. We’d be happy to supply your store! This list will be frequently updated.

A Plastic Sea Perfect Storm in the Making
27.01.2026

Together with writer and co-author in The Europeans Arnold Van Bruggen, designer Jeroen Kummer of LMNOP, and advisor / editor Kim Knoppers, I’m currently working on the final stages of our new book Plastic Sea Perfect Storm. It’s a multi-layered project, featuring at first glance an eclectic mix of topics, which all come together to form a Perfect Storm—a collision of forces that culminates in dramatic human catastrophe. Identity, history, traditions, migration, exploitation, capitalism, pollution—they all find a place in the book. In March, we’ll officially announce the book and open pre-orders, in May we’ll launch it during a preview at Domo in Amsterdam, and from September the work will be officially on display at the Kunsthal Rotterdam.
Please note: Your generous donations allow us to create meaningful social visual stories like this and make an even bigger impact. Please consider supporting our project The Europeans via the link below.
